This hub has an unusual shortened Shimano-splined freehub body with 22.4mm of spline width or 23.9mm including the non-splined section at the very outer edge. The back of the freehub body has grooves to clear the rivet or bolt heads found on some cassettes, and the spline pattern includes one skinny spline to accept multispeed cassette cogs.
Note that the flanges are centered for a 100% dish-free rear wheel. This would be great for a bomber Big Dummy wheel that still has a rear der and part of a cassette in back.
462g weight includes the factory axle bolts and washers. All measurements taken by Karl on a new hub that was procured from QBP in late August 2011.
