Very similar construction and aesthetic to a Rolling Darryl. Spoke holes are aggressively angled outwards. 64-hole drilling like Surly rims. -Karl
7/31/2020 -- This rim data was originally added in 2014, and it refers to be the "original" version of the Mulefut rim that had 33x25mm rectangular cutouts with rounded corners and was drilled with 64 holes (two rows of 32) for offset-friendliness. (Early versions of this rim *might* not have the 80SL suffix in the name?). Had a built specimen come through the shop today; measured/observed as much as I can without unmounting the tire: Rim sticker says "MULEFUT 80SL" and "559x74mm, ERD 551, 6061 alloy, disc only"
Crude ERD measurement using nipples on a built wheel and a long vernier caliper yields an estimated ERD of 556mm, so the mfg published value might be a rim seat diameter... -Karl
Got my hands on a bare used rim during a wheel rebuild. Markings and cutouts are identical to those described in the 7/31/2020 note above. ERD measured in several places averages to about 555mm. Measuring with a tape through the cutouts further reinforces the idea that the labelled ERD of 551 is actually a nipple seat diameter, sometimes called ERD++ by other manufacturers. Actual weight of this (slightly dirty) rim was 842g. Confirmed that all physical dimensions closely match the values listed here. -Karl
